Benjamin L. Wren

Benjamin Wren taught at Jesuit high schools in Texas and Louisiana. He also served as a professor of Zen at the Loyola University in New Orleans. He left priesthood in 1996. In 2016, Wren was accused in a lawsuit of sexually assaulting a young girl starting when she was 5 years old in 1978. The Archdiocese of New Orleans publicly named Wren in November 2018 as being accused of child sexual abuse. Wren also appeared on the Jesuits’ Central and Southern Province list in December 2018.
