Sister Mary Omer, a nun at Madonna Manor Catholic home for troubled children, was accused of at least one incident of child abuse and sued in 2005. At least one claim included the 2009 settlement with the Archdioceses for $5.2M. She is often referred to within the settlement as Mother Superior Mary Omer.
