Paul Csik
Ordained: 1932
In 1933, Paul Csik, a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco order, arrived at a church-run orphanage, Hope Haven, as a prefect. He ended up directing Hope Haven from 1949 to 1955. Csik was later identified in the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ list of “credibly accused” priests. He was alleged to have sexually abused minors in the 1960s. Csik died in 1970.
