Worked at Hope Haven in Marrero, Louisiana. In 2006, August Kita was accused of sexual abuse that was alleged to have occurred in the 1960s and 70s. August Kita died in 2008. In 2018, the New Orleans Archdiocese listed August Kita as “credibly accused.”
