James Kilgour
Ordained: 1982
James Kilgour was accused in 1987 of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy when he was the boy’s teacher and counselor at Our Lady of the Lake in 1980-81. It is alleged in the lawsuit that Kilgour continued to make sexual advances on youths up until 1987 when he was placed on leave. The lawsuit was settled in 1991 and in 2018 the New Orleans Archdiocese placed Kilgour on the list of “credibly accused.”
