Paul P. Avallone

Paul P. Avallone was a priest with the Salesian Order/Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB). He was the director-principal of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana. He also may have worked at Hope Haven, a church-run group home and orphanage in Marerro. In his later years, he worked in the clergy in New York and New Jersey. In 2018, the New Orleans Diocese named him as credibly accused of sexual abuse occurring in the late 1950s or early 1960s. His order first reported the accusation to the Diocese in 2011. He died in 2008.
