Richard J. Langenstein is a retired member of the Christian Brothers Order who was accused in 1997 of sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy. In 2000, Richard J Langenstein pled no contest to indecent behavior and was sentenced to 3 years (suspended sentence) and 5 years of probation. Richard J Langenstein retired in 1990 after a career as a former high school teacher, counselor, principal and college vice principal. He worked at Saint Paul’s School in Covington and the College of Santa Fe and was principal of De La Salle High School in New Orleans.
