Samuel F. Martinez

Brother Samuel Martinez, FSC, is a native of Sante Fe, New Mexico and was the principal at Cathedral High in El Paso from 1976-85. He has served in the areas of San Antonio and El Paso, Texas, as well as New Orleans. In 2003, at least 10 boys from the school alleged sexual abuse. Others accused Loeffler of sexual abuse in New Orleans prior to El Paso in the 1970s. Several civil lawsuits have been filed and settled against Samuel Martinez for sexual abuse. In 2016, Samuel Martinez died, and in 2019 the El Paso diocese’s add him to their list of “credibly accused.”
